Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy is provided by Chromawave Consulting ("Chromawave Consulting," "we," "us," or "our"), the data controller for our website and our mobile applications, including the GoodPAW RF engineering app.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you fill out a contact form, request a consultation, or communicate with us via email. This may include your name, email address, phone number, and any other information you choose to provide.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
  • Send you updates about our services and products
  • Improve our website and services
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

5. Cookies

Our website may use cookies to enhance your browsing experience. You can choose to disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect some features of the site.

6. Third-Party Services

Our products (EstiMate, Sweep Testing Analyzer, GoodPAW) may have their own privacy policies governing data collection within those applications. Please refer to the specific product documentation for details.

7. GoodPAW Mobile App — Location & Signal Data

Our GoodPAW mobile application collects and uses location data to provide its core RF (radio-frequency) engineering features. This section discloses how the app handles location and related device data.

  • Precise (GPS) and approximate location are collected while you use the app to tag cellular signal measurements, run walk tests, and generate RF coverage maps and reports, so that your surveys and maps are geographically accurate.
  • Background location is collected only during an active RF walk-test session — including when the screen is off — so that continuous surveys are not interrupted. Background location is not collected outside of an active testing session.
  • Cellular network metrics and device state (signal strength, serving-cell information, network type, and call state for measurement testing) are collected for RF analysis. The app does not access your call logs or contacts.

How location data is used: to build your personal RF coverage maps, walk-test paths, and site reports; to synchronize your survey data across your devices under your account; and, in anonymized and aggregated form, to contribute to a shared network-intelligence database that improves coverage mapping. Anonymized contributions carry no user ID, email, or device identifier and cannot be traced to an individual, and you can opt out of them at any time in the app's Account Settings.

We never sell your location data, share your precise location with advertisers, or track your location outside of active app usage. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings; note that signal mapping and walk-test features will not function without location access.

8. GoodPAW Mobile App — Usage & Analytics Data

Our GoodPAW mobile application records how the app itself is used, so that we can understand which features people rely on and where they run into difficulty. This section discloses that collection.

  • App interactions — the screens you open, the tools you launch, whether a feature you tapped required a subscription you do not have, and the outcome of sign-in and purchase steps (including error codes when something fails), each with a timestamp.
  • Before you create an account. We record these same interactions from the moment the app is first opened, including before — or without — registering. This is how we learn whether people who never sign up are leaving because something is broken or simply because they chose not to register.
  • An app-generated identifier is used to group one person's activity into a session. Before you register it is a random value created by the app, is not your name, email, phone number, or advertising ID, and is not shared with anyone. If you later create an account, it is joined to that account so your earlier activity is not double-counted.
  • Crash and performance diagnostics are provided to us in aggregate by Google Play. We do not receive individual identities from these reports.

How this data is used: solely to analyse and improve the product — which features to invest in, which steps are failing, and whether a release made things better or worse. It is also used to operate the app itself, for example to apply the correct subscription entitlements to your account.

We never sell this data, share it with advertisers or data brokers, use it to build advertising profiles, or use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not use an advertising identifier. If you delete your account, the usage records linked to it are deleted; to request deletion, contact us at the address below.
